Interior shutters are the shutters, which open towards inside of the room and have slats which are very close to each other. These slats can be moved up and down to enable air and sunlight to come inside the room. The interior shutters can be made into two parts the upper part and the lower part. This enables the user to open the part that he wishes to open depending upon the requirement. Exterior shutters are the ones that are created for protection purposes. It can give protection against bad weather, sunlight and it also provides privacy.

Shutters have been traditionally made of wood but nowadays they are made up of a variety of materials such as metal and even PVC. Metal shutters offer greater protection but are heavy to use. While PVC shutters are of light weight and are resistant to bad weather. It would add beauty to your house if you use shutters.
